Sushiko, Turin - Italy #marcobeolchi We did it a Sushiko, Turin - Italy #marcobeolchi

We did it again!
Another Sushiko was inaugurated yesterday in Turin in via Sandro Botticelli 79/H inside the "Piazza Commerciale Botticelli" center which is located in a historic neighborhood of District 6 of the City of Turin.
Easily accessible by public transport and by car, it is located 3 km from the A4 motorway exit and the Torino Stura railway station and a 5-minute walk from the Mascagni 27 bus stop, useful for reaching the city center.

The Piazza Commerciale Botticelli center extends over a single floor, accessible from Via Botticelli and Strada Basse di Stura coming from Corso Giulio Cesare. It has free underground parking with parking spaces on two levels.

On the ground floor, going up from the car parks, you will find the Coop and Trony superstores. In the square facing the street there are commercial and service activities such as Unigross, Barber Team and Team Ribelle. The Center hosts a complete food court with La Piadineria, Lino's Coffe, Sushiko and the Fiorfiore Cafè of the Coop superstore.
Tunateca Balfegó, Barcelona - Spain #marcobeolchi Tunateca Balfegó, Barcelona - Spain #marcobeolchi

The purpose of the project was to design a gastronomic space which will promote red tuna as a quality product and, at the same time, make the brand known to the general public.
The interior design is intended to become another element of communication regarding the world of the red tuna. Each of the zones reflects a different aspect of the product and its capture.
The principal area or Blue Room transports us to the depths of the sea.

The Ronqueo Room, refers to the traditional, manual dissection of the tuna. The Balfegó family has for many years held public “ronqueo” sessions in different areas of the city of Barcelona; events attended by numerous chefs and professionals of this sector.
The locale required a reserved area where “ronqueos” could be held every so often and its design had to meet the specific necessities of the event such as a large work area and thorough but easy cleaning.
It was decided that a ceramic wrapping would convert the room into a clean and aseptic space, while at the same time making reference to the tuna skin with its shiny blue and silver scales.

Hoddie Hot Dog, Scalo Milano Outlet & More, Milan Hoddie Hot Dog, Scalo Milano Outlet & More, Milan – Italy #marcobeolchi

Hoddie Hot Dog is a new concept coming from Mama Burger & fashion Cafe group. The idea is to reinvent one of the best selling product in the world the hot dog revisited with a typically “MAMA” approach where the use of excellent quality raw materials and the attention to the design and details guarantee a unique experience to the customers.

Food trends come and go, and there’s always something new and sexy that’s sweeping the world. But seldom does anything have the lasting appeal of the good old fashioned hot dog, iconic in America for nearly 150 years, with which perhaps only the hamburger can even compete on a symbolic/social level.

A hot dog is the ultimate multi-tasking food: but this is not America, how will the italian consumer respond?
I hope all the best for this new format and I'm sure it will

Patara, Moscow - Russia #marcobeolchi A cozy Geo Patara, Moscow - Russia #marcobeolchi

A cozy Georgian restaurant, slap in the center of the Patriarch's Ponds district. Its name in Georgian means 'tiny', and no one would disagree! The entrance is set directly in the arch from the courtyard. The door practically leads into the kitchen, giving the idea that you've come in through the back door.

The kitchen is situated right in the center, and takes up nearly all the available space, yet amazingly they manage to seat up to 55 covers around the edges, if Manana or Tamara were running the kitchen, you'd feel right at home in an apartment in Tbilisi. Yet no command of the kitchen is in the hands of Nik Metreveli and Ilya Benashvili, elevating its food to the level of a gastronomic feast.

The design project want to replicate the feeling of a cozy Tbilisi apartment, and this governed the choice of decor and materials: lots of stone, solid wood, and astounding made to order plateware enamelled in blue. But the attention to detail doesn't stop there: there is also eight and a half thousand spoons, all specially brought in from Tbilisi, and lending a particularly warm and welcoming Georgian lustre.

TRi, Hong Kong - China #marcobeolchi The concept TRi, Hong Kong - China #marcobeolchi

The concept for TRi came from the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, the union and balance of three elements: man, nature, and divinity. The guests pass through three areas during their TRi experience- Kampung (the Village), Kebun (the Garden) and Hutan (the Forest). The design elements are inspired both by Bali’s rich cultural heritage, as well as its natural beauty. Bamboo is the dominant material, but TRi also features Balinese metalwork, slabs of river stone, and traditional cloth. In Repulse Bay, the river, sea, light reflections over the course of the day, tree line and far-off mountains all play a role in TRi’s design.

The first area, Kampung, welcomes the guest into a Balinese compound. Woven panels and mats speak to humble village homes and hand-craftsmanship; brown tones reminiscent of a wood-smoke hearth dominate the space.
Guests then move into the bright world of a well-organized family garden, or Kebun.
Finally, TRi guests come to the original Bali, the Bali of the untouched riverside, ripples in the water, cascading ferns, and wild groves of bamboo.
A magical jurney.

Boticario, Buenos Aires - Argentina #marcobeolchi Boticario, Buenos Aires - Argentina #marcobeolchi

Boticario is an author cocktail bar, of 2 floors connected by a wall of greenery sprouting from wooden drawers. It works with distillate and homemade preparations that rest in plain sight.
The space imitates an old apothecary/pharmacy crossed by the passage of time and taken by the vegetation. You can drink and listen vinyls while you get lost in that eclectic collection of art and antiques.

Candy Bar, Detroit - USA #marcobeolchi Candy Bar Candy Bar, Detroit - USA #marcobeolchi

Candy Bar, which is covered from floor to ceiling in a millennial pink hue, recalls Detroit's jazz era with an intergenerational twist.
Apart from the pink plush booths and rosy marble tables, there's a beautiful 1970s Parisian disco ball from the notable Les Bains nightclub which makes the walls come alive with glittering spotlights.
The focal point of the cozy bar, however, is the blown glass chandelier (it features 670 individual pieces of glass and weighed in at 400 kilos) which fills the room with a gentle rose gold glow.
Behind the curtain, the U-shaped bar seats around a dozen on red velvet chairs, and total capacity of the room is only 30.

The Pure Salad, Milan - Italy #marcobeolchi The The Pure Salad, Milan - Italy #marcobeolchi

The concept of this salad shop starts from the idea that the salad is an angelic meal, pure, almost a remedy, which allows not to renounce to taste, getting rid of guilt.
The vehicle of this message is a cosmopolitan “Santina” that becomes the protagonist of space; a figure inspired by classical sacred iconography, but at the same time enriched with colors, floral details and poses typical of the Viennese secessionist style, reinterpreted in a contemporary key. Strong is the reference to the “Madonnina”, one of the most identifying symbols of the city of Milan.
The “Santina” emerges on the backwall of the room from the tropical foliage that characterizes the wallpaper, the pattern continues on the wall behind the seats, creating an elegant contrast with the light structure laced in iron.

The space has been divided into a selling and dining area and a laboratory.
The two areas are divided by the light iron structure and perforated sheet painted white of the counter.
