Another restaurant opened on Saturday 17 October.
Parco 51 spread over 20,000 square meters for 17 retail brands, 6 restaurants, a supermarket, a go kart track and a gym.
Sushiko is full of colours that evoke emotions and immediate sensations in our minds.
Positivity or negativity transmitted by precise tonalities date back to that collective and ancestral memory that has characterized the survival of our ancestors. And on the basis of this memory, man has built stories and traditions.
Colours thus become full of immediately recognisable meaning.
A real case of colour therapy.

NĂM, Kyiv - Ukraine 🇺🇦 #marcobeolchi

Interior of NĂM restaurant is decorated in French colonial style with characteristic ethnic blotches. In order to achieve maximum authenticity it was tried to apply as much as possible natural materials in decoration, which were specially aged according to conditions of tropical Vietnamese climate. All wooden products including parquet on the ground floor were made from massive 100-year old barrels from under white and red wine. Almost every element in design with the exception of chairs and technical lighting was created exclusively for this restaurant.

Due to experiments with light restaurant radically changing its image according to time of day. In daytime thanks to large windows all halls of restaurant are full of light. With onset of twilight lighting becomes more muted, and closer to night it is almost completely extinguished, leaving only certain accents and shadows that provides a complete transformation of restaurant’s atmosphere in evening.

Inspired by the love story of Sakura rain, the design of Omakase erased the sadness of story without a trace. It broke some preconceived traditional ideas and challenged the widely accepted standard of behavior. Started with the design concept of Sakura and dew, the Sakura petals and dewdrops are combined in the glass partition in a creative way, achieving a virtual-real synthesis and crystal-clear decorative effects.
At the same time, the boundless pink Sakura is in contrast with the golden Tatami room, as if one entered a Sakura labyrinth. With the dynamic lighting, the blooming Sakura and exquisitely carved dewdrops make a feast of Sakura. Such a poetic environment seized the heart of a maiden.
The entire space is just like a freehand brushwork painting, in which every diner becomes a part of the scenery. While enjoying the food, who will not be pleasant and contented in the beauty?
There’s sunset which never falls, and there’s Sakura rain which never ends.
Life is more than just living, there are still romantic times and pink dreams.

La Sastreria, Valencia - Spain 🇪🇸 #marcobeolchi

Located in the maritime neighborhood from Valencia, the restaurant is divided in three parts.
Thus, in the first part we can find a bar that highlights the neighborhood itself, not only through its architectural references, but also its locals and their way of living. This way it represents the act of taking fresh air (Tomar la Fresca) during the warmest days, when the neighbors get on the streets with their chairs from home and come together for a chit chat.

The design shows patterns made with customized tiles that reinterpret the façades from the neighborhood.

In the second part of the restaurant the design recreates a huge wave that grows toward the kitchen and is traduced into a sculpture made of ceramic pieces. The floors of artisan ceramic in white and blue makes us experience the division between the water and the sand of the sea, while the chairs designed for the space are a reference to the fishing boats.

Last, behind the kitchen the storage spaces are designed as a fish market.

Spooning Cookie Dough is the first company in Germany which provides the freshly produced dough. Located in Berlins popular Prenzlauer Berg, the project transformed a narrow, dark 22 square meter front space into a bright and playful journey to everybody's childhood, when nibbling raw cookie dough in grandmas kitchen.
With a very small budget, a mixture of graphic color zones in pink, white and dark blue was used, combined with very classic white tiles for wall coverings.

The bar is kept very simple with a 3,3m freestanding center desk to present ten different mixes of cookie dough and a variety of well selected toppings.
Children can use the bright yellow handle bar to climb one step up to see what’s in the doughfilled bowls.

In order to spread the word about the new place on social media some art installations have been added such as a #forgetyourdiet neon sign on a dark blue wood panel, a shuttlecock arrangement, and a menu board behind the desk with changeable hand-stamped letters on pieces of plywood. Also, the light concept is kept very graphic by using regulable led tube lights which are arranged closer in the back and wider in the front of the bar to give more visual depth to the room. All furniture is made of a combination of coated steel and glazed plywood. To make the look more graphic, every part of the furniture in front of the pink wall is also covered in the same shade of pink.

In the Quechua language of Peru Pakta means “union”; in this case the union of two cultures and their respective cuisines. The interior design emerges from this same idea, considering that Japanese cuisine is the basis of the nikkei gastronomy but wrapped in Peruvian tastes, colours, traditions. With this in mind, the basic elements of the restaurant such as the bars, the kitchen and the furniture are designed with a clear reference to the architecture of the traditional Japanese taverns.

An explosion of colours evocative of Peru envelopes the space. This chromatic “second skin” is achieved by use of a direct reference to the Peruvian loom, offering a surprising combination of colours which contrast with the austere Japanese design, and underlining the deep-rootedness of this artefact in Peruvian arts and crafts. However, the re-interpretation of the Peruvian loom goes further, sequencing its own elaboration process on the walls, transforming this flat surface to offer a tridimensional character to the space, adding vitality and movement and blurring the limits which mark the locale.

La Visione is an Italian restaurant, but also a co-working space, slash team meeting place, and a bar for everyone. Above all, it is a point of contact for Object Carpet, the renowned carpet supplier from Denkendorf, to engage with the world. The restaurant is located at the centre of its new ‘Object Campus – City of Visions’. The idea behind the campus is to create synergies, and the restaurant follows suit: La Visione consciously positions itself between different worlds in every respect.

The restaurant is divided into three sections: a lounge, a dining area and a vinoteca. Only none of them really behave in the way you might expect. In the first space, a counter that is not actually a counter, as it brings the charm of the kitchen to the bar, effectively dissolving all divisions between guest and server. Not only the different roles have fluid boundaries, but also the different functions: this is a co-working space at lunchtime, an aperitif lounge in the evening and where the party starts when there is something to celebrate.

Imagine an Asian restaurant inside a disused church. Imagine walking down the central isle looking at an altar with metal columns and arches alongside and above you. Imagine stain glass streaming in the sunlight on one side and hand painted murals on the other.
Misu is the contemporary and edgy interpretation of a restaurant inside a disused church.
Classical western elements meet fine Japanese shapes in a beautiful and mesmerizing confluence of glamour and grunge.
Indirect lighting illuminates the mesh arches and hand painted walls to create an intimate atmosphere at night.
The deconstructed, almost cubist portrait of a girls face acts as the central point which the arches lead up to.
During the day the abstract stain glass at the back of the bar overpowers the area becoming the focal point for a fresh and hip ambiance.

The founding concept of the new gastronomic kitchen & bar Sapiens on Pushechnaya Street is companionship, which you can go there for at any time. In the morning Sapiens prepares breakfasts, in the afternoon a-la carte and business lunches, and in the evening guests can enjoy signature cocktails and musical rhythms from top DJs.

The restaurant was divided into 2 rooms. A bar area with a guest table connected to the bar counter was placed in the first. Whitish brick walls, contrasting with a geometric floor pattern and a vivid mural on the ceiling, made the interior bright but neat. The high ceiling made it possible to augment the first room with a balcony for private events.
The second room with its soft seats and subdued lighting is closer in functionality to a restaurant. Here, those who want a more relaxed and intimate atmosphere will be comfortably accommodated.

The name of the establishment was emphasized with the help of an ironic art piece: five figures decorate the wall along the stairs to the second room demonstrating the gradual development of man – from pithecanthropus to homosapien.

Located on Bowery, a street that dates back to the 17th century, Vandal was the latest restaurant by the Tao Group Hospitality and Chef Chris Santos.
Celebrated British street artist Hush was instrumental in influencing the eatery's art direction. In addition to contributing his own large-scale murals to the decor, he tapped seven other street artists (or "vandals") to lend their unique aesthetic to the space: Shepard Fairey, Apexer, Tristan Eaton, Eelus, Vhils, and Will Barras.

Vandal celebrated the art, architecture, and food of global culture from New York to Vietnam to Barcelona and beyond, as well as the history and culture of the restaurant’s Lower East Side location.
The two-level space included a bar/lounge, restaurant, garden dining area, private dining room, and cellar nightclub.
Inspired by street fare from around the world, VANDAL’s menu was a culmination of Chef Santos’ personal travels and reflected his signature style of multi-ethnic small plates that are ideal for tasting and sharing.

The resulting menu included nods to global street culture of locales from Chile to Thailand, Greece to Amsterdam and beyond.
Unfortunately now closed.
