Giovedì 10 settembre abbiamo inaugurato un nuovo ristorante Sushiko all’apertura dell’ampliamento di 23.000 mq del Parco Commerciale Da Vinci a Fiumicino (Roma), che è così diventato il Parco Commerciale più grande d’Italia ((90mila mq complessivi), nonché tra i più grandi d’Europa e credo tra i più frequentati con oltre 12 milioni di contatti annui.

E’ la seconda apertura post “Lockdown”, e altre sono già previste entro fine anno.

Una bella iniezione di fiducia sia quella della Proprietà, che ha investito oltre 100 milioni nell'ampliamento del parco, che quella di tutte le aziende nazionali e internazionali che hanno creduto di non doversi fermare in questo momento difficile. @sushikoitalia @parcodavinci

As most of the post-90s generation in China are spending more time on the internet, stores have evolved from a simple sales space into a lifestyle carrier, and then transformed into a social place. Nowadays, stores are no longer just displaying and selling goods, they should be called "online physical space".
In Conemoting Market, display and counter sales can already be handled as a supplementary function of the online stores. In the online shop, the creativity of designers is stimulated and the technique of expression began to exaggerate, so the wonderful ideas of specific materials, colors, objects, lights, and sounds are further developed.
In other words, Conemoting Market is a physical space created for the online space, where the self-expression desire from the young generation can be released.

The ground floor functions as café in the daytime and a bar in the evening. The transparent orange and red acrylic plates divide the dining area, building a psychedelic visual effect; the warm colors are highlighted by the contrast with the cold silver façade, making it stand out in the community.

With a very “tropical slant” look, the Maraca Restaurant opened last january in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo. The food is eclectic, with a mix of Dominican and international creations.

The style of the preexisting façades were the source of inspiration and gave rise to this interior design that is also a tribute to the tropical exuberance and the Caribbean party. The variety of elements in finishes, furniture and accessories stands out with a visual language loaded with patterns and colors.
The art deco style facade remained practically intact in terms of composition. The glass blocks were replaced by new pink ones.

As is characteristic of Art Deco, intense colors were used, leaf green for the facade contrasted with a reddish fuchsia that highlights the typical details of the style, such as cornices, ruffles and geometric finishes.
The main entrance space welcomes us with an elegant painting by the urban artist Willy Gómez.

BAO is a modern chinese restaurant that embodies the atmosphere and energy of three megalopolises – Singapore, Hong Kong and New York.
Thus, the idea of cosmopolitanism and cultural migration between the East and the West was represented.

On the center of the main dining area, there is a long community table: about 50 guests can easily sit down.
On the ceiling above the table, one can see the main decorative element of the space - the scale of the Dragon diving into water. The installation consists of the thousand ceramic tiles, each of which symbolizes Koi fish. As Chinese legend has it, any fish that gains the Dragon Gateway up the river turns into dragon. Waterfall at the end of the room embodies such a gateway.

The room on the second floor is decorated with the bright installation named Chinese warrior armor. It overlooks the main room as well as an open kitchen. An additional attention grabber of this room is the brass table crossing the line of the glass barrier and balancing over the main dining area. In such a manner the idea of the Yin and Yang balance is represented.

The project first takes on the theme of color. The identified palette plays with natural materials – wood in different finishes, Fornace Brioni’s terracotta, natural waxed iron to which are added a de-saturated blue and an earthy marc color, in addition to the chalk white of the longitudinal walls.
The ceiling alternates original and restored wooden beams with light blue backgrounds.

The Giulio Romano terracotta boiserie from the Gonzaga collection by Fornace Brioni covers the walls of the short sides – together with Matteo Brioni’s unfired earthenware plaster that reaches the ceiling – while in the center of the room the original brick septum remains the protagonist.

A storage unit is positioned in the arch designed by the central brick septum, deliberately detached from the wall, and stands proudly on its own. It is a rounded volume at the ends, enclosed by two curved sheets which play on the front with a micro-mosaic terracotta covering.

The Cheriff restaurant comes from a long tradition of local family businesses. It has turned into a culinary classic, known for its history and quality, with fresh fish coming in directly from the neighbouring docks.

Timelessness is created when things are easily understood. “Intellectual elegance”, as simplicity is by no means “simple”, but rather the result of a long process of experimentation, revaluation and refining. Artisanry as a tool for authenticity: the unknown artisan. Including artisanry into design means making it human.

The new Cheriff is an interpretation of the original restaurant. The initial wood and brass materials are recycled into reddish wooden panels and carpentry, and call out the maritime universe. The design introduces thereon an additional dark blue, ephemeral and changing like the sea, in various materials and textures, while serving as a unifying element. Formally, the curves and preserved arches, would divide the different areas in the restaurant. An ode to the life of the local fishermen from the past, and those still bringing in the fish today.

Located in the heart of the Penedès, prestigious vineyard territory of Catalunya, SEGURA VIUDAS is home to producers of the traditional sparkling Cava and other boutique wines. The project has been realized within the ancient eleventh century farmhouse which originally served as a defence tower to domains belonging to the Monastery of Sant Cugat in Barcelona.

Romanesque structural elements of the property, such as the 'masonry' walls made from irregular cut stones, the arches (semicircular and Ogival) and the ‘loophole’ windows have all been partially restored.

Existing architectural elements have been restored, the furniture and lighting system renovated and decoration added to create harmony with the new vision of the property. Materials such as wood, wicker, glass, ceramics, handmade macrame tapestries and other natural finishing materials were a source of inspiration to complete the project.
