Blue by Alain Ducasse, Bangkok - Thailand #marcobe Blue by Alain Ducasse, Bangkok - Thailand #marcobeolchi Blue by Alain Ducasse, draws guests in to a world apart from the heat and intensity of Bangkok, offering an experience that plays on what is quintessentially French in the global imagination with a sensibility that avoids clichés and speaks too to the spectacular riverside setting of Thailand’s great bustling city. From the welcoming enclosure of the wood panelled foyer, guests pass in to the restaurant’s lounge, a space of seclusion and privacy inspired by the intimate gardens, the bosquets, of the Château de Versailles. Light from above and from the encircling wall of suspended walnut and brass lamps creates the effect of the magical dappled light of fireflies. Drawn further still the guests begin to glimpse the restaurant beyond – the sparkle and texture of the pleated chandelier, the luxurious royal blue of the walls and the floors – and then the glorious expanse of the floor-toceiling views across the city. Peaches, Melbourne - Australia #marcobeolchi Pea Peaches, Melbourne - Australia #marcobeolchi Peaches is a cocktail bar located on the second floor of an existing building on Swanston Street. It is part of a larger 3 level hospitality project. Upon entering the space one is immediately immersed in an alternative peach universe: suspended circular pendants are a representation of ripe peaches hanging from the pink ceiling and walls are also dipped in a pale pastel peach. Semi private booths upholstered in textured blush fabric are underlined with LED lighting to create an elevated zone within the space. Oversized leaves provide green accents, cutting through and balancing the pink interior. Bespoke candy coloured terrazzo table tops, a green veined onyx bar top and moss green stools further complement the material palette. Shiny brass detailing lifts the interior to a luxurious level. A pink staircase leads up to the Peaches rooftop, .... And is literally putting the cocktail umbrella in your drink. The colour palette screams ‘fun’ with pastel blue walls, a cocktail bar clad in white curved tiles, accented by blue grout and white furniture with umbrellas on timber decking. Vuong Gia Ve is an influential and inspiring director for the Okkio Caffe, so this design story was inspired by the movie "2046", his film about the return train from the year 2046. Based on this idea, the building’s façade is designed as train windows with iron bars as the highlight. Furthermore, the ceiling inside is built up with the curved shape as the train’s one. Moreover, the “frame in frame” is decorated with the idea of bringing natural light from the windows and ceilings directly onto the floor. The highlights here, which are the counter and the ceiling system of the building, have been emphasized. Crowned by an Eric Parry-designed glass roof, the restaurant runs along the entire east side of the market making for beautiful rooftop views across the piazza. Bold in design, Sushisamba Covent Garden offers a host of inviting dining and drinking experiences: from the bar with its ‘living ceiling’, the exposed kitchen and high energy sushi bar, to the terrace overlooking The Piazza below,and the private dining room with its own entrance and terrace.

In the interior of GODS you can observe the totality of different eras of art: the Middle Ages, the beauty of the Renaissance, the mythology of Ancient Greece, contemporary art in collaboration with antique statues and engravings. The sculpture of Venus de Milo, Michelangelo’s “hands”, engravings by Gustave Dore, Heinrich Aldegrever’s Hercules, fittings from Fitzgerald’s books – stealing beauty in everything! The menu of GODS is built on the idea of taste research – it combines the geographical diversity of recipes, a modern interpretation of the classics and an original presentation: dishes from different cuisines of the world, each prepared according to the author recipes using molecular technologies. The cocktail card of GODS is divided into two parts. The first is devoted to the external, bodily side of the universe; the second is internal, spiritual.
